Agricultural Market Information Systems Self-Assessment Results

The process of self-assessment of the Agricultural Market Information Systems (MIS), carried out jointly with the different delegations of the MIOA member countries, was recently completed. Reports of the results were delivered at national, regional and hemispheric levels. The national results were sent by email to each of the delegates, while the regional results will be disseminated and analyzed through the regional coordinators. The stage that now proceeds consists of the analysis of the reports to determine what project opportunities can be carried out to benefit the development of the MIS of the countries concerned and in the same way the development of MIOA. Project proposals with a regional or multi-country scope can be channeled through the Regional Representatives to the Technical Secretariat of MIOA, which will prepare project profiles for the analysis of the Executive Committee.
Fueron entregados reportes de los resultados a nivel nacional, regional y hemisférico. Los resultados nacionales fueron enviados por correo electrónico a los delegados, mientras que a través de los coordinadores regionales se divulgarán y analizarán los resultados regionales. La etapa que procede ahora consiste en el análisis de los reportes para determinar que oportunidades de proyectos se pueden realizar en aras de beneficiar el desarrollo de los SIMA de los países interesados y de igual manera el desarrollo de OIMA. Las propuestas de proyectos con alcance regional o multipaís puede ser canalizado a través de los Representantes Regionales a la Secretaría Técnica de OIMA, que preparará perfiles de proyectos para el análisis del Comité Ejecutivo.
