Andrés Rivadeneira y Bryron Lima, Members of the General Coordination of National Agricultural Information (CGINA – MAG -Coordinación General de Información Nacional Agropecuaria del Ministerio de Agricultura by its Spanish acronym) of Quito, Ecuador, will present the project to strengthen the Agricultural Public Information System (SIPA - Sistema de Información Pública Agropecuaria by its Spanish acronym), a computer system where the information collected from the Ecuadorian agriculture sector is recorded, controlled, validated and disseminated. The project is being carried out with the collaboration of USDA, IICA, and MIOA. 


The objective of this technical presentation is to present the progress of the project to date, the computer structure of the new platform, and its positive impact on the price-raising process. And in turn, receive technical suggestions and opinions that enrich this process.
